通士兵说：“我们没有坦克也没有火炮，全凭敢死队把炸药包绑在身上炸鬼子的坦克，一个人的牺牲换他一架（口误）”另一个说，“白天打仗我们不怕，就怕天黑听受伤的弟兄喊‘排长，连长’；可是他们在阵地的中央，谁也无法把他们救回来”一个当年的国军军官说，“我们武器太落后，机枪一个连只有3挺还常卡壳。全凭一股气和鬼子拚。”
